Kishtwar High Altitude National ParkOne of the most interesting and uncommon wildlife sanctuary based in the vicinity of Jammu is the Kishtwar High Altitude National Park. There are some rare natural herbs found here, which include Dipsacus mitis, Artemisia vulgaris, Anemone spp., Brachypodium spp., Primula spp., etc.
Best time to visit Kishtwar High Altitude National ParkThe most ideal time for bird watching is from March to May and the best suited time for paying a visit to the animals is from September to March. Also, be prepared with the right set of clothing as per the prevalent season during a particular time of the year. For instance, winters are chilly and be ready with heavy woollen clothes and waterproof windcheaters’ to ward off the sudden downpours.
